Plastic Pallet vs. Wooden Pallet:

In most cases, the plastic type pallets are a better buy. They are not much more cost than a wooden pallet but last MUCH longer. I've used both types extensively so I have seen first hand how they compare. Wooden pallets can eventually rot when left outside or in extreme conditions. They can also break rather easily. Plastic pallets are normally made of virgin type polyethylene which makes them much stronger than wood and they are hardly phased by weather conditions or chemicals. All around if you plan to reuse your pallets, you should definitely take a close look at buying plastic type pallets!
